Riyadh - July 16th: Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) - one of the leading telecommunications service providers in Saudi Arabia, and Huawei - a leading company in providing ICT solutions in the world, announced the signature of an agreement to expand the ITC Core Network infrastructure for (IP/MPLS) services. This expansion will enrich the advanced and high quality telecommunication services ITC is offering in the Saudi market to keep pace with new technologies and will enable ITC to build cloud computing services.
Eng. Ghassan Itani, ITC CEO, says: “Expanding ITC Core Network is reflecting ITC strong commitment to the development of the telecommunications market in the Kingdom and to continuously offer premium and advanced services to our valued customers”. Eng. Itani added ”signing this Agreement with Huawei will be in line with the strategic partnership between ITC and Huawei towards further cooperation in the implementation and development of ITC projects in the Kingdom, such as data connectivity, and internet Services. Eng. Itani pointed to the prestigious trade status enjoyed by Huawei in the global market.
According to Mr. James Wu, Huawei Saudi CEO: ”We are glad to be awarded the contract by ITC in which we will provide several kinds of IP products to ITC , such as NE40E series,ME60 series and other. Huawei attains a leading position in the Middle East and worldwide for IP products, and we hope the IP core network expansion will help ITC provide powerful services, expand their customer base and sustain their business success”.
